The countdown is ON for the next Radio Broadcast Course to start this Saturday 31st January, and we’re jumping with joy at the response so far!

The course runs over four consecutive Saturdays and includes practical tools, listening activities, recording opportunities, PDF notes, class audio availability for anyone needing to miss a class.
You’ll also have the opportunity to spend valuable studio time with the legendary Sista Mary if you want to observe a pro in action. Sista Mary is one of our most well-respected long-time presenters at Bay FM whose show coincides perfectly with the Saturday course.
There’ll be many more exciting skills to learn and take aways from this four-week adventure amongst the airwaves.
A word from your tutor sista Rasela:
“There are countless gifts waiting to be discovered within the endless realms of community radio. The three that stand out for me most in my 24 years producing and presenting radio shows and content are:
CONNECTION >> COMMUNICATION >> (and the elusive art of) LISTENING.
It’s astounding how many people don’t LISTEN during a conversation. (I used to be one of them!).
It’s incredible to witness the power of spoken word: to be touched by it, moved deeply enough to act upon what we hear and, on occasion, be changed by it forever.
In radio we have an obligation to ensure every word has purpose, meaning, reason and is clearly understood by our listening audience.
Which is NOT the way the majority of people communicate on a day-to-day basis! You’ll gain the supernatural ability to LISTEN to the world with new ‘radio ears’.
The Radio Broadcast Course could ultimately reshape the way you CONNECT, COMMUNICATEP & LISTEN. You’ll also gain new friends and skills along the way!”
If we fit your frequency, jump on the Radio Broadcast Course Page for info and booking details. There are only a few remaining places left.
Don’t worry if you miss out this time round, we’ll let you know when course enrollments open next season!
Come join the good ship Bay FM and be help steer it towards a happy and healthy future for generations to come.
