Good news for supporters of anti-whaling activist Captain Paul Watson, with the controversial campaigner released from detention in Greenland last month in time for Christmas.

The Captain Paul Watson Foundation says his five-month-long detention in Greenland has helped highlight their continuing work against marine life slaughter in territories under the control of Japan, Iceland and Denmark.
