We’re very excited to be offering 8 lucky leaners the opportunity to join the latest intake of budding radio presenters in this 4-week comprehensive training workshop taught in the Bay FM studios. No experience necessary!
The course is also suited to those with previous experience in presenting who might be a little rusty around the edges and in need of an update on the station, the sector, the Codes of Practice or the latest equipment and programs available. Whatever your needs, we have it covered.
Your tutor is the award-winning producer, long time presenter and self-confessed community radio addict Sista Rasela who provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere each week, sharing her 24 years’ experience involved in the sector along with her distinct passion for connecting communities via the magic of the airwaves.
If the idea of presenting a show makes your palms sweaty and your heart race (perfect ingredients for an aspiring presenter btw), then come along and see what happens behind the scenes. Learn more about the various committees and volunteer roles that help a radio station like ours to broadcast for over three decades through community involvement!
