Interim CEO of Surfers For Climate, Caitlin Fine, co-created a powerful Water Women event to help activate our renewable future.
Held at Flat Rock in Ballina Shire, June 14 – 16 2024, the inaugural Water Women Camp Out gathered together 100 women to prepare for more action in defence of our beautiful oceans.
On the table were topics like Surfemminism, gender equality, and how offshore wind turbines can power our world.
Campers were welcomed by Aunty Lois Cook who shared dances and storytelling. Bush Food Queen Mindy Woods offered up a feast on the first night with native tucker delights including fish collars and heads.
