Si Clone knows all about cyclones! Every 3rd Friday night this whirlwind of a DJ emits a series of rhythmic electronic bleeps with his show Submerged taking you on a journey into deep electronica and beyond.
An intergalactic maestro of spicy sonic journeys, Si Clone reigns supreme in the realm of techno. Based in Byron Bay since the turn of the millennium, his infectious beats have traversed the underground universe, captivating dance floors from Tasmania to Cairns and beyond since 1996.
Si started doing his show Submerged on Bay FM in the year 2000. He began by doing some office volunteer work to get his foot in the door when he first moved to Byron. Then, one fateful Friday afternoon, someone couldn’t do the 4- 6 pm time slot, so he jumped on and did the show. Many BayFM crew heard that first show and loved it, so he was given a weeknight time slot. Si played all vinyl on his show up until 2013 when he switched over to digital.
Before joining the BayFaMily he did his show Submerged on Noosa Community Radio 101.3 FM for 3 years. What a community radio legend!
