The Brunswick Nature Sculpture Walk is going ahead from 20th to 30th September 2021 in Brunswick Heads, NSW and online.

The Brunswick Nature Sculpture Walk (BNSW) is a not for profit arts collective. It connects professional artists and the local community through sculptural installations, multi-media art forms, nature walks and workshops along the foreshore of Brunswick Heads.

Soundscape via your phone

This year our onsite event will showcase a handful of sculptures situated across the river and foreshore landscape. With QR codes created by artist Conrad Hamill, you’re taken on a soundscape via your phone. You’ll find the QR Codes as you head over the footbridges.

You can also go online and get a taste of the Brunswick Nature Sculpture Walk and explore 40 nationally recognised artists and their work via the catalogue. Here, you’ll learn about their art practice, why they are so passionate about the environment, and what they do. You can even purchase or commission an artwork via the website as a unique gift, memory or investment.

Vote for the People’s Choice Award

This year the People’s Choice Award, where you can vote for your favourite piece, will be held online between 20th and 30th September. Local sculptor Christina Khumari has sponsored this award.

So whether this year you visit live or online, you will be able to explore the Artists of 2021. Artists present a diverse range of media that inspire us to reflect, feel, act, and question aspects of the environment where we live.

The Brunswick Nature Sculpture Walk is not just a triennial event but an ever-changing landscape where art, community and nature interplay with each other over time.

In times like these, we need to support the arts.
