Hi precious one,

 Well its been HOT! hasn’t it? ,but ofcourse nothing like as hot as it’s going to get if humanity doesn’t learn to live in harmony with our precious Earth. Today we have a few stories concentrating on Global warming. There’s a fabulous story from Germany about Climate activist actually buying Emission Allowances  (which polluting industries must buy to keep on polluting). Well this Activist group “The  Compensators”  http://www.thecompensators.org/2008/

are buying  those EUA’s and “disappear”  them so that fewer will  remain and the price of those remaining will increase. They reckon that the price of these EUA’s in Germany to pollution our Earth’s atmosphere is set much too low.

Ah tell us something we don’t know... the true value of our earth’s physical structure, ithe biota and the atmosphere has no MONETARY value in the global economics system.

There is a story from Spain about Solar Power and from Australia about the Nuclear Industry endeavoring to become the non greenhouse polluting source of power for Australia! Beware.....

Is it time to look at nuclear energy again?

If you’re feeling guilty every time you turn on the light or jump into your car, how does using nuclear power sit with your conscience? According to some of Australia’s premier scientists, it may be the country’s best option in order to seek fossil fuel reduction. Up until now the issue has been put on the sidelines, with government, energy and green groups preferring to discuss other forms of fuel such as carbon capture and storage or renewable energies such as wind and solar. But the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering says that nuclear is not as bad as it’s been portrayed, and it should come back on the energy radar.

The Compensators is a non-profit association which deletes emission allowances (EUAs) from the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS). Our goal is to decrease the number of emission allowances available on the market and to raise awareness on the role of each individual to combat climate change.
