I find it so hopeful that so many actions seem to be happening right now, at all levels of our society and across the globe concerning ridding our world of nuclear weapons. For successful action to happen first the consciousness must be raised and it sure seems to me that this is what is happening now.

Please join your voice, your actions, your heartfelt peaceful consciousness to the crowd so that our belief in a peaceful , non violent, equitable and nuclear free world will one day become a reality.

THE PROPOSALS OF THE WORLD MARCH

To avoid a future nuclear catastrophe we must surpass violence today, demanding:

•         nuclear disarmament at a global level;
•         the immediate withdrawal of invading troops from occupied territories;
•         the progressive and proportional reduction of conventional weapons;
•         the signing of non-aggression treaties between countries;
•         the renunciation by governments of the use of war as a means to resolve conflicts.
