Dear friend, It’s too cold for words isn’t it? Imagine what it must be like for our homeless citizens. Over 100,000 of those are children and young adults. Today we talk to Mo Hughes , a long time campaigner to help get Kids Off The Street. She’s been over in South and North America tackling the same problem. It’s so lovely to have her on the show. She will also be on the 'Colours of Byron'at 0800 this coming Sunday morning. Today the indefatigable Alan Clement is on the show campaigning to raise awareness about the plight of Burma’s elected democratic leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been imprisoned by the military regime for the last 14 years. His public talk on Friday evening is a not to miss event. My condolences also go out to the family of Aunti Linda Vidler and all Arakwal people on the death of Auntie Linda last Thursday. Her life celebration is on this coming Friday at the Byron Bay Surf Club. Love Ros http://www.burmacampaign.org.uk/index.php/burma/campaigns/aung-san-suu-kyi/
