 It was great to chat with Ross Allan from Wellwishers http://www.wellwishersethiopia.com/

and his colleague in Addis Ababa about the importance of providing fresh water to rural Ethiopians.

Get involved if you can..what a great way to really make a difference in peoples lives.

I loved what Ross said, “My wife and I decided we wanted to use the money we’d made in this life to help change peoples lives, not to enhance the (affluent) life style of our kids when we die.”

If only more people would do that.. Distribute the wealth of the first world to the majority world. Seventy percent of rural Ethiopians do not have access to fresh water.

I hope you also enjoyed to hear our inimitable Anhudi Wentworth, taken for an oral history project I did in 2006 to celebrate 100 years of Byron Shire Council. Anudhi had to be interviewed as she was the very first conservationist on Byron shire council. And didn’t she do a grand job!
