FEATURE ALBUM.

ROOMFUL OF BLUES-HOOK, LINE AND SINKER ALLIGATOR 2011

There ain’t nothin’ like the sound of a big band and Roomful of Blues do it as well as anyone. After 35 years and 16 albums they do have some mileage. Roomful are always good for some double – entendre stompers a roaring horn section and a good time. This album features covers from the likes of Big Maybelle, Floyd Dixon, Gatemouth Brown, and the title track being a Dave Bartholomew track that Smiley Lewis made into a hit. This album celebrates that hip – shake thing like all great albums should.

·      3. Hook, Line and Sinker.

·      4. Kill Me.

·      11. Time Brings About a Change.

·      1. Free at Last. The Blind Boys of Alabama. Down in New Orleans. Proper/The Planet Co

·      2. Make a Better World [with The Hot 8 Brass Band].

·      4. You Got o Move.

·      8. If I Can Help Somebody [with Alan Toussaint]

·      11. Warm Your Heart. Aaron Neville. Warm Your Heart. A&M. 1991.

·      1. Louisiana 1927. Aaron Neville. Warm Your Heart. A&M. 1991.

·      2. Everybody Plays the Fool. Aaron Neville. Warm Your Heart. A&M. 1991.
