What a great surprise this is. Lynwood Slim has been performing for longer than the Igor Prado Band have lived. Make no mistake these guys swing like Count Basie was their father. The standouts are the song selections from such performers as Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Dave Bartholomew and Walter Jacobs. Lynwood Slim contributes Maybe Someday and Show Me the Way and Igor Prado provides Blue Bop and Bill’s Chance. Such an old school swing style with the energy of youth. Look this one out. · 2.
