As has already been pointed out its 20 years since SRV took that helicopter flight after a concert featuring Jimmy Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. Having just completed with his brother Jimmy entitled SRV’s career was about to take off.

The arrival of a new Ronnie Earl album is a special gift. It’s similar to meeting an old friend the kind with whom you continue a conversation as if you’d never been parted. I must confess to not playing Ronnie Earl on radio because his music was so special for me that I was unsure if others would appreciate it to the same extent. I also wanted to keep it for myself such was its soul connection. I soon realised Ronnie Earl should be heard by all and that you have to make your own connection. Once again Mr Earl thanks for the gift.
