A cosmopolitan place with a multicultural community, Byron Bay has it all.

Through years of struggle the Italians in the world have obtained some right from their government. Also there is Comites a local committee created to help the Italian Consulate to serve Italians better.

Only Italians who are officially registered with AIRE (Register of Italians Residing Abroad) are eligible to vote overseas. There are many other services provided at a regional level.

In Australia we are entitled to 2 members (a MP and a Senator) in the Overseas Electoral District.
