BayFM has teamed up with Amrap to add a great new function to our website. AirNet is a programme that gives visitors the opportunity to find out so much more about the music they hear on BayFM. AirNet bridges the gap between radio airplay and artists' online promotions. AirNet draws radio listeners to interact with artists, whose music is broadcast on radio stations nationwide. It also streamlines station airplay reporting to APRA, and will soon allow Australian artists to track their community radio airplay in realtime.
BayFM’s presenters were trained last week in setting up their Playlists with AirNet. There is much excitement about getting so much information up so easily. Access to album art work, artist/band bios from Wikipedia and YouTube performances of the track listed is suddenly available just by typing in track and artist names.
Check out what your favourite presenter played this week, by going to the Show Menu and selecting the day, then scroll down till you find the programme and click on the name. This will open the AirNet playlist, where you can click info on the right hand side and all manner of information becomes available to you. BayFM is the third Community Radio Station in Australia to install AirNet, joining FBi in Sydney and 4ZZZ in Brisbane, with Three Triple R in Melbourne soon to follow.
