BayFM's 2009 'Love Your Radio' Subscription Drive ended Sunday afternoon with a party, an on-air Glastonbury Radio Fest and the drawing of the winners of the three major prizes. BayFM thanks the many subscribers, volunteers and sponsors who made this our most successful Subscriber Drive ever. A total of 1005 listeners became subscribers during the month. The winners of the major prizes were drawn on-air by our generous prize sponsors. The winner of the fabulous Trip For Two to the 2010 Glastonbury Music Festival Prize including airfare, tickets, and spending money sponsored by Byron Bay Premium Brewery, was Dean Clarke. Second prize of 2 x One Year memberships of Heart and Soul, including full gym use, group classes and yoga, plus 2 x 12 week body transformatiom programme including personal training sponsored by Heart and Soul Byron Bay, was won by Peter Barton. Third prize of a star tetrahedron merkaba, handmade from bevelled glass triangels, a tree of life sculpture and a silver and amethyst pendant, sponsored by Zakay Glass Creations was won by Rachel Sullivan. The six hour presentation featured a brief interview or description of every programme on BayFM and every presenter chose a track from a band or artist who had played at the Galstonbury Festival in past years.
