All community radio broadcasters are subject to various regulations imposed by the Federal Government which issues our licence to broadcast and also the Code of Practice which, though developed by the community radio sector, is enshrined in the Act. ACMA Sponsorship GuidelinesThe Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is the Federal Government department that issues all radio and television licences, including those for community broadcasters. BayFM's permanant licence was renewed in June 2007 for another 5 years. Sponsorship on community radio is regulated by the Broadcaster Services Act (BSA) .
